KARACHI: Secretary Information United Business Group (UBG) Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig congratulated Chairman FBR Asim Ahmed, member IR operations Dr Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed and their team for collecting Rs4,721 billion hallmark against targeted Rs4,691 billion for the year 2020-21. Dr Baig termed the effort impressive and hoped to look at the consistency in the growth, especially in revenue collection. He said the FBR would be able to achieve new target of Rs5,829 billion too.
He appreciated new FASTER system for prompt payments of sales tax, surpassing sales tax target by Rs317 billion this year.
