Body of five-year-old boy found in nullah a day later

A five-year-old boy who drowned in a nullah near his residence in Macchar Colony on Saturday was found dead on Sunday.
According to the Docks police, Hamza, son of Sher Ali, drowned in the nullah close to his residence while he was playing with neighbouring children on Saturday.
His body was recovered on Sunday by the Edhi foundation's divers. The body was taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi and later handed over to his family for the burial. The boy had six siblings and he was the fourth child. His father is a labourer by profession.
The funeral prayers were offered on Sunday at a mosque near his residence and later he was laid to rest at a graveyard. The police said no case had been registered as the boy drowned accidentally.
