Human capital like health, education and skills are vital to human development and economic growth. It is no accident that countries with high levels of human capital have achieved high standards of living. They invested in the education sector which helped them to produce knowledgeable and skilled labour. Better health facilities provided a healthier and ultimately more productive workforce.
This is one of the reasons that the countries like Canada, Japan, USA, UK and others are more developed economically and their citizens enjoy a good life. Conditions can be better in Pakistan if the government chooses the same track as the developed countries did. It will not only help in the betterment of the economy but also improve our standard of living.
