MANSEHRA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly (MNA) Saleh Muhammad has said that the federal government is mulling a plan to establish the first-ever women university in Hazara division.
“The government will set up women’s university and medical college in Mansehra,” he told a news conference here on Monday.
He said work on four new electric feeders was in progress to overcome power outages and low voltage issue in Mansehra,.
The ruling party lawmaker said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had also signed a memorandum of understating with Saudi government for a mega water supply scheme.
“Work on this mega water supply scheme will be started soon as a delegation of KP government is leaving for Saudi Arabia to finalise modalities for it,” he added.
He said the Saudi government released Rs680 million for surgical equipment and modern machinery for King Abdullah Teaching Hospital last year.
“These mega projects will bring about a positive change in the lives of people,” said the lawmaker.
