SUKKUR: The scorching heat spell which began on Tuesday in Sukkur, Khairpur, Shikarpur, Larkana, Ghotki, Nausharoferoze, Nawabshah, Jacobabad and other cities of Sindh paralysed the routine life of the people.
Besides the scorching heat, there were prolonged power outages, which added to the miseries of citizens. Citizens also complained about the gas loadshedding. Moreover, no heatstroke centre was established in the city. The citizens in order to beating the heatwave moved to water parks. They said that the Wapda claims of no loadshedding during sehr and Iftar were false. They said that they had witnessed more loadshedding in Ramazan than before.
