Court official awarded 30-year jail term

GUJRANWALA: A court’s official, who was involved in mega corruption scam, has been awarded 30 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs3 million here. This case was referred to the court by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE). ACE regional director Fareed Ahmed told that a case was submitted in the department against accused Allah Rakha who was serving as ’Nazar’ in the civil court of Sialkot. He was allegedly involved in embezzlement of Rs2.9 million by tampering the court’s record. After investigation, allegation leveled against him was proved.
