PSF retains winning combination for Asiad

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) has retained same men and women teams for the Asia Games which won silver medal in Asian Squash Championship. The PSF board has decided to put faith in same players who have won silver behind Hong Kong in the Asian meet. The Asian Games will be held in Jakarta (Indonesia) from August 18. Based upon the decision, Farhan Zaman, Tayyab Aslam, Amaad Fareed and Muhammad Asim Khan would represent Pakistan in men’s event whereas Madiha Zafar, Faiza Zafar and Riffat Khan would play the women’s event. A training camp has been arranged for the selected players immediately after the forthcoming Pakistan Squash Circuit I that concludes on May 13.
