US decision to put Pakistan on watch list resented

LAHORE: Pakistan Ulema Council rejected the decision of US administration for putting Pakistan on watch list of religious freedom. It said that faithful of all religions and believers of different schools of thought enjoy complete religious freedom in Pakistan as the Constitution of Pakistan has categorically defined rights of Ahmedis as well as for Muslims living in the country, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council. He was addressing a press conference here on Wednesday.
