MANSEHRA: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday notified Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Saleh Mohammad Khan as the provincial president of the party’s Youth Wing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“I am thankful to my party leadership for reposing confidence in me. I would prove through my work that I deserve this office,” he told a gathering held in his honour in Baffa.
Member National Assembly Mohammad Safdar, who is the central president of PML-N’s Youth Wing, issued the notification after consultation with deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Saleh Mohammad, who is an active lawmaker from Mansehra, said that he would revitalise the party’s Youth Wing in the province so that the youth could take to the streets for agitation on the call of party leadership.
He said the party was passing through a difficult phase of its history and it needed to groom the youngsters to face challenges. “We show due respect to the youth in our party as they are our future,” he added.
The lawmaker said the PML-N had launched mega development projects in Hazara division particularly in Mansehra. “The work on motorway, alternative gas pipeline from Abbottabad to Mansehra and Suki Kinari hydropower project is in full swing and completion of these projects will change the life of the common man,” he said.
