Villagers beat three robbers to death near Faisalabad
FAISALABAD: Three unidentified robbers were beaten to death by people in Dhanola village on Monday afternoon, while two of their accomplices managed to escape.According to details, the armed dacoits forced their way into a grocery shop (Haji Kaleem Kiryana Store) on Millat Road and looted hundreds of thousands of rupees.

FAISALABAD: Three unidentified robbers were beaten to death by people in Dhanola village on Monday afternoon, while two of their accomplices managed to escape.
According to details, the armed dacoits forced their way into a grocery shop (Haji Kaleem Kiryana Store) on Millat Road and looted hundreds of thousands of rupees. As they tried to flee the scene on two bikes - one of them a Honda 125 with registration number A-13 - the villagers intercepted them. As a result, the robbers resorted to indiscriminate fire that injured six people - Issa, Hamza, Musa, Yaqoob Ali, Iqbal and Nadeem. However, the locals overpowered three criminals and tortured them with clubs and batons. The police reached the scene after 40 minutes and convinced the desperate citizens after a long discussion to hand over the criminals.
The injured robbers were being shifted to the Allied Hospital in a critical condition when they expired before getting any medical assistance.On the other hand, a notorious dacoit Waseem alias Nasir Pathan escaped from police custody when he was being presented before a local court in a robbery case. Pathan is reportedly involved in more than a dozen cases and was brought to Faisalabad from the District Jail Lahore. The five policemen, including ASI Khalid Hussain, have been arrested on the charges of negligence.
