1,124 pass test for motorbike ambulance service

LAHORE

To ensure recruitment of the right person with the right aptitude, the Punjab Emergency Service/Rescue 1122 has developed transparent system of recruitment involving written, physical, skill and psychometric evaluation test.

Out of total 4, 525 candidates, 1124 candidates have cleared the National Testing Service aptitude test for recruitment to the posts of emergency medical technicians for new initiative of Motorbike Ambulance Service being launched in all nine divisions of Punjab this year.

According to the NTS, 67 candidates have been recommended for Bahawalpur, 90 for DG Khan, 153 for Faisalabad, 86 for Gujranwala, 443 for Lahore, 180 for Multan, 46 for Rawalpindi, 90 for Sahiwal and 69 for Sargodha divisions for final interviews.

It may be pertinent to mention here that, to ensure transparency, the entire short-listing process has been outsourced to the NTS. The candidates passing different stages are finally interviewed by the provincial recruitment/selection committee comprising members from four independent government departments; Home, Health, Police Departments and Emergency Services.
