QUETTA: Unidentified men kidnapped six persons, including the engineers of Balochistan Development Authority (BDA) from Murgha Faqirzai area of Tehsil Muslim Bagh of Qila Saifullah district on Monday.
According to Levies Force, the engineers and a private contractor were busy in survey of a road project in Murgha Faqirzai area when unidentified armed men reached the site in vehicles and took away all of them to unknown destination on gunpoint.
Among six persons, the officials and staffer of the BDA, including Xien; Sub-Divisional Officer, Bacha Khan Sadeer, SDO Muhammad Aslam, the driver, helper and a private contractor identified as Asmatullah Khan, they said. The law enforcement agencies reached the site and cordoned off the entire area to trace out the suspects. Further probe was underway.
