Newly-elected Senators notified
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Thursday issued a notification of the success of newly elected senators from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Election Commission has notified Murad Saeed, Faisal Javed, Mirza Afridi and Noorul Haq Qadri as independent senators-elect on the general seats.
Likewise, PMLN’s Niaz Ahmed, JUIF’s Attaul Haq and PPP’s Talha Mahmood have also been notified as members-elect of the Senate on the general seats.
The commission has also notified Rubina Naz as independent member-elect and PPP’s Rubina Khalid on the women’s seats, whereas notification of independent members Azam Swati and JUI’s Dilawar Khan on the technocrat seat has also been issued.
According to the notification, the term of the elected members of the Senate will end on April 8, 2030.
