Chud The Builder held on $1.25M bond, Joshua Fox's wife raises $60K on GoFundMe
Joshua Fox, a black army veteran, was shot and injured by Chud The Builder
The wife of a man shot by Dalton Eatherly aka Chud The Builder has raised $60,000 in donations on crowdfunding website, GoFundMe, hours after she launched an appeal for help.
The donation appeal gained traction as a judge set an initial bond at $1.25 million for Chud The Builder, charged with attempted criminal homicide and more after shooting a black veteran, Joshua Foxm and himself during an altercation outside the Clarksville courthouse. .
Below is the GoFundMe appeal launched by the victim's wife:
"Hello everyone,
It saddens me to come and ask for help, but today at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, TN, my husband was involved in an altercation that led to him being shot by a man known as “Chud the Builder,” who is widely known for making racial slurs toward people of color.
My husband, Josh, was shot in the stomach and shoulder. As of the latest update, he is in stable condition, but the emotional and financial impact this will have on our family is unimaginable. There is no telling how long I may be out of work to help care for my husband, who is already a disabled veteran and suffers from other medical conditions.
Our children are also struggling through this difficult time. I’m not asking for a lot, but if you feel it in your heart to help, please consider donating to support our family during this time of need.
If you’re unable to help financially, we completely understand and simply ask that you please keep us in your prayers.
Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers."
