Joshua Fox's 'criminal record' used to justify Chud The Builder's actions
Chud The Builder was arrested after he shot a black army veteran, Joshua Fox
Some social media users on Friday appeared to justify the shooting of Joshua Fox, a black army veteran, by sharing details of his alleged crime record.
The 31-year-old was shot outside the Montgomery County Courthouse by a notorious online streamer known as Dalton Eatherly aka Chud The Builder.
As Fox remained hospitalized after the May 13 incident, his wife has raised over $60, 000 through a GoFundMe campaign to cover medical expenses, describing him as a disabled veteran struggling with PTSD.
Supporters of Chud The Builder have circulated court records of Fox’s 2024 arrest in Clarksville for aggravated domestic assault.
Local police have not publicly confirmed details of Fox’s criminal history in connection with the ongoing investigation.
Observers have noted that any prior record does not justify the shooting.
Meanwhile, a judge has set an initial bond at $1.25 million for Chud The Builder, charged with attempted criminal homicide and more after the shooting.
