‘Deemak’ premiere at Karachi cinema
Premiere attended by a large number of showbiz stars and film enthusiasts
Geo Films’ horror-drama Deemak held its grand premiere on Sunday at Nueplex Cinemia. The film is all set to hit cinemas nationwide this Eid ul Adha, and its star cast believes it will mark a turning point in Pakistani cinema.
The premiere was attended by a large number of showbiz stars and film enthusiasts. Many cast members were in attendance, including Faisal Qureshi, Sonya Hussyn, Samina Pirzada, and Javed Shaikh, who were praised by their fans for their powerful acting in Deemak.
The audience was also delighted to see many other actors at the premiere, including Shamoon Abbasi, Aijaz Aslam, Junaid Khan, Usman Pirzada, Adnan Shah Tipu, Faiq Khan, Yasir Hussain, Yashma Gill, and Ayaz Khan. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the film. They specifically praised horror scenes, stating that they were depicted with perfection.
After the screening, the audience cheered for everyone involved in the production. They also praised Geo Films for producing a thrilling horror film, stating that the horror genre had not been much explored in Pakistan and the producers took a bold step by deciding to make a horror film.
Deemak has been produced by the Mandviwalla Entertainment in partnership with Geo Films. It stars Faisal Qureshi and Sonia Hussyn in lead roles, alongside a powerhouse supporting cast that includes Samina Peerzada, Javed Sheikh, Bushra Ansari and Saman Ansari. The film has been directed by Rafay Rashdi with Syed Murad Ali as the executive producer.
It is worth mentioning that Geo Films has previously delivered several cinematic gems such as Khuda Kay Liye, Bol, Teefa in Trouble, The Legend of Maula Jatt, The Donkey King, and The Glassworker. With Deemak, the studio is once again set to captivate audiences across Pakistan.
