Alleged killer of boy arrested in Lakki Marwat
LAKKI MARWAT: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested a suspect involved in murdering a minor boy in Khan Killay area of Lakki Marwat district.
A police official said that Hanifullah had shot at and killed Khalid, 11, over damaging crops by his goat on April 5. The deceased’s father Shahidullah had told police the suspect had killed his son before him and escaped the scene. The official said that the killer was at large for the last one month and police were combing the rural localities in search of him.
After the murder of the minor, DPO Muhammad Jawad Ishaq had directed local police to ensure arresting the killer, he maintained, adding that on a tip-off, a party of Tajori Police Station raided a suspected hideout in the rural area and captured Hanifullah without facing any resistance.
