Indian aggression a threat to regional peace: PA speaker
LAHORE:Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan strongly condemned the Indian aggression and declared it a threat to regional peace.
Talking to the media in the Punjab Assembly Secretariat on Thursday, he stated that the Indian PM should not be considered any less than Hitler; he believes in the Hindutva ideology with a weak mindset.
Ahmad Khan said that the aggression imposed on Pakistan will ultimately prove detrimental to India itself. India has always initiated aggression, and even after the Pulwama incident, Pakistan offered impartial investigations, but India demonstrated its traditional stubbornness.
The speaker stated that bringing down an Indian warplane is not a minor matter; the attack was a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and integrity. Due to this aggression, not only was civilian life affected, but innocent children were also martyred, which is the worst crime against humanity.
Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan clarified that India itself has withdrawn from the Indus Waters Treaty and the Shimla Agreement, after which Pakistan reserves the right to take any and all actions for its defense.
Malik Ahmad Khan further said that the government, the army, and the public are united in the stance that Indian dominance in the region will never be accepted. The brave people of Pakistan are ready to fight for 100 years to protect their freedom. If this war lasts for a century, we will continue to fight for the protection of our region and future generations.
