ABBOTTABAD: Hazara Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Nasir Mahmood Satti on Wednesday directed all District Police Officers (DPOs) to prioritize the establishment of Police Facilitation Centers across all districts equipped with modern amenities.
The directive was issued during a monthly crime review meeting held on Wednesday. All DPOs of the Hazara Region virtually attended the meeting.The DIG asked all concerned for the modernization of police facilities and to expedite the creation of technology-driven Police Facilitation Centres tailored to public needs to enhance accessibility and efficiency.
He stressed the need for crime control measures by intensifying efforts to apprehend fugitives involved in serious crimes.Satti directed the DPOs to conduct weekly search-and-strike operations in their respective districts to target illegal weapons, narcotics, undocumented tenants, and security violations. Legal action must be enforced impartially for all offenses, minor or major. Earlier, during the session, DPOs submitted performance reviews of their districts.
