FC personnel martyred in gun battle with armed men
DERA MURAD JAMALI: One personnel of Frontier Corps Balochistan embraced martyrdom in a gun battle with armed men while seven suspects were arrested in Mir Pur area lying on border of Nasirabad and Jhal Magsi district on Saturday.
The official sources said that following a tip off security forces launched search operation in Mir Pur area situated on border of Nasirabad and Jhal Magsi district during that armed men ambushed the security personnel leaving one personnel of the Frontier Corps martyred.
The FC also retaliated against the attack. The gun battle between security forces and the armed men lasted for some time and ended with arrest of seven suspects. The security forces also recovered huge cache of weapons from the possession of the armed men.
The arrested accused were told to be involved in heinous crimes. The martyr FC personnel was identified as Muhammad Ashraf whose body was dispatched to his native area of Mianwali. The law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the entire area to trace the suspects. Further probe was underway.
