KTPL season four starts
KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori inaugurated Karachi Tape-Ball Premier League (KTPL) season four at the DHA Sports Club-Moin Khan Academy on Saturday night.
Speaking on the occasion, legendary cricketer Javed Miandad said tape-ball cricket is getting popular as everyone can play this and it is as good as hard-ball cricket. “Practice with tape-ball can help players in hard-ball cricket,” said Miandad.
Chairman KTPL Zohair Naseer announced on the occasion that the league would be played at national level in the next edition with teams representing different cities of the country. This year’s KTPL Season boasts a diverse lineup of teams, including defending champions Clifton Popular, DHA Dabanggs, Johar Jawaans, Gulshan Gohar, Lyari Legends, Malir Malangs, North Nawabs, and Karachi Knights. The matches will be broadcast live on GEO Sports.
