Seven matches decided in Khelta Punjab Games Cricket
LAHORE: The exciting competitions of Khelta Punjab Games Lahore district Inter-Club Tape Ball Cricket Tournament are being organised at Gao Shala Sports Complex Cricket ground under the auspices of Sports Board Punjab (SBP).
On Tuesday, seven matches were decided in which young cricketers exhibited their wonderful batting and bowling skills in front of a large number of cricket enthusiasts.
Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal in a statement said that the thrilling competitions of Khelta Punjab Games are being organised in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “Thousands of budding players are demonstrating their sports potential in different games and we are quite upbeat to find several talented athletes from this platform,” he added.
Following are the results:
First match: Toofan XI 79/3 (Ali Haider 28) beat Wajahat XI 78/4 (Rehan 27) by a big margin of 7 wickets.
2nd match: Anoosh XI 98 (Hassan 43, Asad 37) beat Sabzazar Boys 58 runs by 40 runs.
