Man gets life term for honour killing

PESHAWAR: Additional Sessions Judge Shaukat Ali has awarded a double life sentence to a man on the charges of killing two people in the name of honour.
Accused Sabir was handed double life imprisonment and fined Rs1.2 million for killing his sister-in-law along with her alleged paramour in the name of honour. Deputy Public Prosecutor Zulfiqar Ali and Assistant Public Prosecutor Asim argued the case before the court.The public prosecutors argued that the absconding accused, Anayat and Nabi Rehman, including the husband of the deceased, had shot and killed the victims in the name of honour.
