Kandi Burruss, Todd Tucker reach divorce settlement four months after their separation
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have finally come to a legal agreement regarding their divorce after four months of their separation.
For those unaware, Burruss and Tucker, who first met on The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2011, tied the knot in April 2014.
The couple welcomed two children together, Ace, 9, and Blaze, 6, in their 11-year marriage.
According to PEOPLE magazine, Burruss and Tucker have resolved all the matters related to their divorce on Wednesday, March 11.
The outlet received the documents filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia. This comes after Judge Alice Benton asked them to share a "final judgment, parenting plan, child support addendum, child support worksheet, etc." for the court's review by Friday, March 20.
In November of last year, the 49-year-old American singer-songwriter and actress publicly talked about her divorce and legal proceedings.
While giving an interview to the same outlet, Burruss said, "After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce.”
She stated that “this is a difficult and emotional time” but she was determined to keep her focus on “protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect.”
"I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family,” Burruss explained.
