ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given time till September 10 to IG Police Islamabad for filing final report in the petition pertaining to recovery of missing citizen from Islamabad Faizan Usman.
IHC remarked, “Protecting the citizens is responsibility of police, if you fail then people will come to courts.” Justice Babar Sattar remarked, “We all know this all happen how. I am giving time till Monday. Come with final report on next hearing.”
The IG Islamabad said it is requested that time be given till Tuesday instead of Monday. Justice Babar Sattar remarked ok police can seek assistance from any one if need arises. Justice Babar issued this directive on Wednesday.
The petition regarding recovery of Usman Faizan, a missing citizen from Islamabad, came up for hearing before Justice Babar Sattar of IHC Wednesday. The missing citizen Usman Faizan could not be recovered and presented in the court.
IG Islamabad Ali Nasir Zaidi appeared in IHC under court orders. Additional Attorney General (AAG) requested the court two to three day-time be given more to him.
IG Islamabad came on rostrum and said he had spent more than half an hour with the father of Usman Faizan. Location of Faizan first was seen in Islamabad and then it was seen in Lahore on August 17. Footages have been seen. There are masks on the faces of some persons. The faces are not clear of the persons who were seen in other footages. The vehicles are being seen clearly in footages.
IG Islamabad said, “We have written to Interior Ministry and Defence Ministry regarding information about the vehicles. Safe city record is only for one month. This incident has occurred two months ago. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 10.
