Bomb defused in Waziristan

WANA: A bomb was defused in the Kaniguram town of the Upper South Waziristan tribal district, said officials.

According to the district administration officials, unidentified miscreants had planted a time device in the water tank in the Tangay Mela area of Kaniguram town.

The local people spotted the device and informed the army. The army jawans took the device to a deserted area and defused it. The timely action saved the water tank and human lives as well.
