The District East police have initiated renovation of police stations and repair of vehicles. East SSP Faruukh Raza said 18 police stations of the district have been given Rs4.5 million in the last quarter of this year for renovation and 15 police stations Rs1.7 million for repair of vehicles.
He added that in total Rs6.2 million was given to all the police stations in the last quarter of this year. The SHOs were informed that each police station had its own budget and they are DDOs and would play the role of accountants.
