Under the supervision of Cantonment Board Clifton, sacrificial camps will be set up at 13 different locations on the occasion of Eidul Azha.

Camps for sacrifices will be set up at 11 different locations in DHA throughout the Eid days, where people will be provided space to come and sacrifice their animals. This helps in keeping the area clean and healthy.

Those who wish to avoid inconvenience to their household due to the meat, blood, and waste of their animals can also avail the sacrificial camps of the CBC this Eid, said a press release issued on Friday. These camps will be set up in plots from Phase I to Phase VIII of DHA, where only space will be provided for the religious obligation of sacrifice, and people will have to bring their own animals.

Within the camps, bedding, post, drinking water, and other facilities will be provided free of cost. These camps will start operating after the Eid prayers. The waste of animals and other garbage will be timely disposed of by the Cantonment Board sanitation staff. It is prohibited to slaughter animals in open spaces or on roads; however, residents will be allowed to sacrifice within their homes. The CBC will take strict action against violators and they will be liable to punishment under the Cantonments Act 1924.
