KARACHI: The internationally acclaimed Pakistan film ‘The Glass Worker’ screened at the Annecy International Film Festival in France marking a historic moment for Pakistan showcasing the talent of its artists to the world.
All shows were sold out, and people waited in queues to buy tickets for their favorite films. Director, Usman Riaz, producer, Khizar Riaz, and art director, Mariam Paracha were also present on stage and received applause.
Earlier, ‘The Glass Worker’ had the honor of participating in the Cannes Film Festival in France last month where Geo films being presented by The Glass Worker created by Mano Animation Studios. The film will be released on July 26 under the banner of ‘Geo Films and Mandawala Entertainment.’
It is worth noting that the Geo Films unit has produced many renowned and iconic films, including ‘Khuda Kay Liye’, ‘Bol’, ‘Tevefa in Trouble’, ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, and ‘Donkey King’, getting popularity and acclaim from audiences.
