Senior PTI leader and lawyer Sardar Latif Khan Khosa arrived in Karachi for a one-day visit on Monday, criticising those who “betrayed” Imran Khan and asserting that they could no longer show their faces.

Khosa went to the residence of Sindh PTI President Haleem Adil Sheikh, where he held meetings with party leaders, including Khurram Sher Zaman. He remarked that while past movements aimed at forming or toppling governments, their current focus was different.

He said numerous politicians, including incumbent president Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Yousaf Raza Gilani, had received gifts from Toshakhana. “Despite these cases, Imran Khan remained unperturbed, always prioritising the nation and its people.”

Khosa said another baseless case was being prepared against Khan, which he believed would also be proven false. He urged adherence to constitutional principles for Pakistan’s progress, inviting various political parties, including the Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Grand Democratic Alliance, to join the movement against what he called “mandate thieves”.

He said the state comprises the district, provincial, and federal governments, all bound by loyalty to the public and adherence to the constitution. He criticised the misuse of power and called for accountability for those responsible. Khosa accused Nawaz Sharif of orchestrating a “London plan” to topple Imran Khan’s government and to ensure the PTI’s demise, alleging that the public responded strongly on election day on Feb 8. He called for the return of PTI’s seats, stating that without political stability, economic stability cannot be achieved, and that the country’s progress hinges on Khan.

Khosa reaffirmed PTI’s position of not negotiating with the establishment, declaring Khan as their sole leader and policy guide.
