The good citizen’s burden
By News Desk
May 19, 2024
Sometimes, being a responsible citizen is an agony in itself. My driving licence was going to expire on March 27 and, being an upright citizen, I applied for its renewal on January 19 2024 to avoid any violation of the law. I thought I would be receiving my renewed license within the time frame.
However, despite paying a hefty fee of Rs10000, my driving licence has yet to be issued. This speaks volumes of the inefficiency of the concerned department. I would also like to request CM Maryam Nawaz to lower the license fee back to its previous rate.
