CB College alumni reunion held
Rawalpindi: The C.B. College alumni reunion, a much-anticipated event, took place here on Tuesday at Garrison Officers Club with a gathering of enthusiastic alumnae who relished the opportunity to reconnect and reminisce about their college days.
The event was meticulously organized by Tahmeena Malik, who has been the driving force behind this annual reunion for several years. The atmosphere was electric as former classmates greeted each other with joy and excitement, sharing fond memories and catching up on each other's lives.
The reunion provided a heartfelt trip down memory lane, reinforcing the strong bonds formed during their college years. The event was graced by the presence of General Nigar who thanked Tahmeena Malik who made such a generous effort to organize the event and bringing all the alumni together. She shared her views about her alma mater and encouraged all the women to focus on their careers, profession. “We all are strong and empowered women. Now it's time to empower other women in our lives. It's good to be here, but one day is not enough to catch up,” she said.
The reunion was also graced by the presence of MNA Hina Chughtai, who was invited as the chief guest. In her address, Chughtai emphasized the importance of women empowerment, inspiring the attendees with her words.
She praised the alumnae for their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their respective fields. "We are strength for each other. It's good to see how this institution has moulded us into such strong women. The educational institute plays an important role to shape our lives. You must continue your struggle, never give up and must continue with your full strength to become what you dream for. Now I can see that my struggle has been recognised. As mothers and as hpme workers we are never the less. We all are achievers in our own way.
A highlight of the event was a lucky draw, and lucky draw which added an element of fun and anticipation in the event. Various gifts were distributed, bringing smiles and laughter to the attendees.
