ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan Friday made it clear that his party had not received any message for dialogue and was not talking to anyone.

Talking to the media in Rawalpindi after meeting with Imran Khan at the Adiala Jail, he said if the PTI was invited to talks, the party founder will tell the nation.

He reiterated that apart from those who stole their mandate, everyone would be talked to.

Hopefully, the Supreme Court will decide in our favor on the reserved seats, he added.

Barrister Gohar claimed that all the cases were of political nature. He said they were not getting anything in the cases and were trying to make another bogus case. He said the party founder had requested that their cases should not be kept pending further, as it was also unfair not to get justice on time. “We hope we will get the reserved seats according to the law. The party has released a white paper on the general elections and the founder of the party has expressed satisfaction over its release,” he said. Gohar said Imran did not say that there was no-trust in the judiciary.

“We want to strengthen the judiciary, Imran Khan’s request is that a judicial commission should be formed on rigging,” he contended.

Apart from this, Gohar said Geo’s economy programme ‘Kar Dalo’ was good and he supported it.

Meanwhile, another

senior PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan said his party was ready for talks with political and other forces. He said this after meeting with the party’s founder chairman.

He said if the government was serious about talks, then they should present their agenda points and if these proved helpful in solving Pakistan’s problems, then Imran had already declared that he would take any decision, which would serve the country’s interests.

“Those standing with the founder PTI are facing problems. We are ready to talk to anyone but there is a difference between deal and negotiation. We will not deal with anyone, our talks will be for the release of Imran Khan and other captives,” he said.

He said the Election Commission will have to return the mandate of the PTI and the chief justice had been requested to take suo motu notice of this rigged election. Earlier, PTI founder chairman Imran Khan, in a message from Adiala Jail, requested the judges to decide his cases as soon as possible instead of unduly delaying them.

“It is also unjust to take late decisions; everyone knows whether it is the Al Qadir Trust case, the Iddah case or the cipher case, all these cases are false, baseless and fabricated,” he claimed.

He alleged the Supreme Court’s decisions have revived the concept of necessity,” he charged. He said decisions were being taken through intimidation, which was destroying the judicial system of the country.

The letters of high court judges, he claimed, had proved that there was a law of the jungle in the country.

Imran said, “I am always ready for talks but these will take place only when our stolen mandate is returned and our innocent workers lodged in jails are released. If talks are held with the opponents, then these will be with those who are the biggest opponents of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf at present”.
