PESHAWAR: The recent heavy rain across most parts of the province has disrupted electricity supply to consumers from 142 feeders.
According to a spokesperson for the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco), 56 feeders in the Peshawar Circle, 44 in Khyber, 20 in Swat, and 22 in Bannu Circle were tripped, affecting the electricity supply.
PESCO’s field staff later restored power to the majority of the affected feeders, with work ongoing to address the remaining feeders.
Authorities at Pesco have appealed to consumers for patience and cooperation with restoration efforts.
