Every game crucial for Kings, says Zahid

KARACHI: Karachi Kings leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood said on Saturday night that every match is crucial for his team to qualify for the playoffs of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024.
Zahid, who registered brilliant figures of 2-27 in his team’s dramatic last-ball win against Lahore Qalandars, told a post-match presser that Kings still had shortcomings to rectify. “For us, every match is important. I aim to do well for my team in any situation and regardless of the opposition,” Zahid said.
“Yes, we still have areas to work on ahead of the clash against Peshawar Zalmi. We got a great start but fumbled in the middle overs, due to which the match went close, which at one stage looked like a straightforward win. So, we will try not to make such mistakes,” Zahid stressed.
