PMLN leaders felicitated on assuming power

LAHORE: The Shehbaz Sharif-led federal government and Maryam Nawaz-led Punjab government have been felicitated on assuming power.

‘We congratulate Shehbaz Sharif on being elected Prime Minister and welcomed his speech in which he pointed out the burning issues of the country and expressed resolve to address such challenges. Punjab Chief Minister also exhibited clarity about her vision of developing the province on modern lines, said leading cotton ginners Malik Suhail Talat and Khawaja Mahbub-ur-Rehman here Monday.

They urged the PM and CM of the province introduce right set of policies to flourish agriculture and keep the industrial wheel in motion. They warned that the industrial sector would fall victim to unbearably high input and energy costs. The menace of fake fertilizer, seeds, pesticides should be dealt with iron hand, they stressed. They hailed announcement of solar-powered tube-well, terming it constructive steps for the farming sector.
