Unaffordable disruption
I am really very disappointed by the attitude Imran Khan and the top PTI leadership have demonstrated following the general elections. I believe they are exaggerating the mandate they have received from the public (it is respectable but not overwhelming, that is the beauty of plurality in democracy) and they are behaving in an immature manner by wishing to create further chaos in the streets of Pakistan. The country is in a precarious condition and cannot bear such protests.
I really strongly believe that all democratic forces and groups in Pakistan and all those who have the welfare of this country at heart, must now unite and get the new national and provincial assemblies up and running at the earliest, as per constitutional mandates. Intransigent and negative activities and actions should be shunned.
