Woman shot dead for honour in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police registered a case against two brothers for killing their sister for honour in the Dhaki area in the district on Sunday.
Paharpur Police Station House Officer (SHO) Samar Abbas said that they had registered a case against Shakil and Aqeel after receiving information from the people about the murder of their sister Shaheen Bibi for honour.
He said that one Javed Baloch, the husband of Shaheen Bibi, had divorced her for her alleged involvement in immoral activities.The official added that she was now residing at her father’s home when the two accused shot her dead on February 20 last.He said that Shakil, Aqeel and their father Sharif Kumhar declared the murder of Shaheen Bibi as natural death but the rumours of her killing had already spread in the area.
