Turbat, the second largest city in Balochistan, faces significant challenges regarding road safety. The city grapples with frequent road accidents that can be attributed to broken roads and open manholes, causing immense difficulties for residents, especially at night when the street lights are often off.
These hazardous conditions contribute to numerous accidents, posing a serious threat to motorists and pedestrians alike.
Moreover, during the rainy season, the situation gets even worse as open manholes become concealed under water, amplifying the risks associated with driving cars and riding motorcycles. Given these perilous conditions, it is imperative for political leaders to take decisive action to address and rectify these pressing road safety concerns in Turbat.
