Last week, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) launched its ninth season. While we revel in this cricket extravaganza, it is essential to acknowledge and support the parallel women’s league where extraordinary talent shines.
Regrettably, the women’s league lacks the robust backing it deserves and the mostly empty stands from last year remain a disheartening sight. The dedicated female cricketers truly deserve our encouragement. In light of this disparity, I earnestly request the government to actively promote women’s cricket, ensuring it receives the recognition and support it merits.
