Second chance?

No single political party or group has managed to secure a simple majority in the recent elections and I expected that this would end up being the case. However, the PTI-affiliated group of independent candidates has emerged as the largest single group and a big contender for forming the federal government and perhaps some provincial governments as well.

The PTI had a golden chance earlier on but lost it mainly due to the inexperience, arrogance, and confrontational politics of its former chairman. Luckily, the party now has another chance. By learning from its past mistakes, the PTI will do itself as well as the nation a big favour. I hope good sense prevails.
