KARACHI – Cantonment Board Clifton inaugurated a water purification plant in Kh-e-Jami DHA to resolve and interventions for the prosperity and betterment of CBC and its residents. The water purification plant, with a capacity of 1000 gallons per day, will provide clean drinking water to CBC residents, the chief guest on the occasion was Brig. Muhammad Zahir Malik President Clifton Cantonment and Station Commander Karachi. Executive Officer Shahrom. Safdar Khattak, Vice President Aziz Suharwardy, Member Board Aslam Khaliq and Chief Engineer Riaz Sheikh were among others present at the inauguration ceremony.
According to the detail CBC inaugurated water purification plant with the collaboration of RCK gate way and Essa laboratory in Kh-e-Jami DHA. On the occasion. Brig. Muhammad Zahir Malik said that the Clifton Cantonment residents should be provided with safe and clean drinking water so that healthy society can be performed. CBC also starving to provide a door step service to the residents of the CBC. He further added that if the residents are not facilitated at the point of their door step no institution can become a role model.
In the end Executive Officer CBC Mr. Shahrome Safdar Khattak announced the set up of more water purification plants in CBC area and appreciated the efforts of Vice President. Aziz Suharwardy, Member Board Aslam Khaliq and Chief Engineer Riaz Sheikh.**
