Winners of discover Pakistan photography contest unveiled

Islamabad: Serena Hotels under its Cultural Diplomacy initiative announced the top three winners of Discover Pakistan Photography Competition 2023.

The theme selected for this year's competition was ‘Cultural Chronicles: Capturing Heritage through the Lens.’ We received over 300 entries showcasing outstanding work from various regions across Pakistan. 

The judges of the competition were Syed Mehdi Bukhari and Tariq Hameed Sulemani, renowned photographers who have established a name for themselves in Pakistan and around the world. Both the judge’s showed appreciation for Serena Hotels initiative in organizing the Discover Pakistan Photography Competition for 5 seasons. They commended the diverse participation from talented photographers across the country, highlighting the exceptional quality of the submitted photographs.

The top three winners Ahmed Faraz from Lahore, Ubaid Ullah from Islamabad, and Hussain Abbas from Gilgit-Baltistan expressed their gratitude to Serena Hotels for providing them with the opportunity to showcase their talent. They also appreciated the management of Serena Hotels and the judges for presenting and promoting the culture of Pakistan. They conveyed that this recognition would serve as encouragement for them to further expand their creative work.
