Faryal Talpur felicitates Sister Zeph on winning Unesco’s global teacher award

Faryal Talpur, president the Pakistan Peoples Party’s Women Wing and former MNA, congratulated Pakistan's schoolteacher Sister Zeph on winning the Global Teacher Prize 2023 on behalf of Unesco, a United Nations organisation working for the rights and welfare of children in the world.
In a statement on Wednesday, Talpur expressed her heartfelt congratulations to Sister Zeph and termed her Global Teacher Prize 2023 award an achievement for the people of Pakistan, especially women. She appreciated the teacher’s efforts to provide education to the children of Pakistan's underprivileged areas. Sister Zeph’s win was announced at Unesco’s headquarters in Paris. She was selected from among over 7,000 nominees from 130 countries.
