Former President Joe Biden espoused the theme of the Maryland Democratic Party’s “ Fight Back & Win” gala on Saturday night as he prompted Democrats to stand up to Trump and his administration.

In a 10-minute speech slamming Trump’s failings, former President Joe Biden accused him of corrupting the presidency, saying Trump has made billions of dollars since he returned to the White House.

He openly challenges saying it is “ brazen blatant corruption on a scale never seen before in American history in any administration.”

Biden addressed the audience, “ What makes me angry is that Trump wants to give taxpayers money, your money, to the January 6th insurrectionists. That's what he wants to do.”

This comes as he proceeds to traverse a complicated post-presidency amid widespread dissatisfaction over his management of the 2024 election.

According to a recent CNN poll, data showed that only 30% of the American public held a favourable impression of Biden-lower than at any point during his time in the White House.

The latest speech also coincides with his family’s political comeback to the chagrin of some Democrats. Former first Lady, Jill Biden recently released her memoir and kicked off a promotional campaign on the 2024 election cycle-a significant move that has intensified frustration among those who feel it is renewing old party wounds.

Moore, who greeted Biden on stage, pointed out, “ We have a unique opportunity not just to push back. This is our opportunity to push forward.” Moore, who has also been discussed as a future presidential candidate, will face former state delegate Dan Cox in November, in a rematch of the 2022 gubernatorial election.”

The Maryland Democratic party’s first chair, Charlene Dukes said deals for emphasizing mutual support said: “We’re excited about the unity that we’re going to form over these next several months as we go into November,”

“What we want you to know is that you can count on your Maryland Democratic Party to be there right beside you,” Duke continued.

Efforts to shape Biden’s legacy could come into heightened priority in the upcoming period. The former president has spent much of the year working on his memoir, although a formal release schedule has yet to be revealed.

Biden insisted he was still fighting for the party as he offered encouragement to Democrats during their certain time out of power.

Additionally, his remarks were met with approval: “To all you who love our country, my message tonight is straightforward and simple: Get up. Get up now, Continue this fight.”
