LAHORE : Former IG Punjab Dr Syed Kaleem Imam along with a delegation of journalists visited Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) and met Inspector General Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar.
IG Punjab informed the delegation about the working and future plan of Safe Cities Authority. He said that three safe cities are being built in big cities including Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Faisalabad with low-cost and police own softwares and IT technology. He said that Mini Safe Cities are also going to be established in all other small towns of the province under the Pasban project.
Former IG Punjab Syed Kaleem Imam visited various sections of Safe City along with a delegation of journalists. Briefing was given about intelligent traffic management system and modern communication system, the delegation was briefed about modern forensic evidence system and the importance of evidence in investigation.
Imam also presented his book to IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar, Managing Director Punjab Safe Cities Authority Ahsan Younis presented commemorative shield to former IG Syed Kaleem Imam at the end of the visit.
