Rawalpindi Board announces SSC-1 result
Rawalpindi:According to the schedule released by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi has announced the results of the Matriculation (first annual) Examination 2023.
Chairman of the Educational Board Rawalpindi, Muhammad Adnan Khan, and Controller Examinations, Vice Secretary Sajid Mahmood Farooqi, announced the results in a board conference room. A total of 116,656 candidates appeared in the Secondary School Certificate Part-I (SSC-I) Examination 2023, with 115,541 candidates passing the exams. Among them, 58,457 male students and 57,084 female students took the exam.
There were 89,904 regular candidates and 25,637 private candidates. Out of the total candidates, 89,184 were declared successful while 26,173 candidates failed, resulting in a pass percentage of 77.2. The pass percentage for female students was 83.11%, while for male students, it was 71.42%. There were 1,059 absent candidates.
After announcing the results, Chairman of the Educational Board Rawalpindi praised the efforts of Controller Examinations Vice Secretary Sajid Mahmood Farooqi for his team's hard work in preparing the best examination results. He also extended appreciation to Professor Asif Hussain, Secretary of the Board, and his entire team for their tireless administrative and moral support. He acknowledged the efforts of all board officers and staff who worked diligently day and night to conduct the full-proof examination, particularly Assistant Controller Conduct Raja Sajjad Akbar, Computer Branch Officers Muhammad Afzal Bhatti, Muhammad Sarfraz Senior Data Processing Officer, and Secretary Branch Deputy Controller Khalid Sarwar Awan, and Assistant Controller Matric Branch Shaban Abbasi.
The chairman expressed hope that these officers and staff members would continue to play their role diligently in conducting the examinations of the Second Annual 2023 with the same dedication and hard work. Additionally, the results have been sent to the mobile numbers provided by the students on their admission forms, and the results gazette has been uploaded to the respective portals of regular institutions.
