Falling for chocolate comes naturally to most of us. Chocolate doesn’t know how to be demanding.......

something sweet

Falling for chocolate comes naturally to most of us. Chocolate doesn’t know how to be demanding, moody or dishonest (unlike people) which makes it so natural for us to love it. In Pakistan, there are a number of people who indulge in eating chocolates. We are people with a sweet tooth and minds that crave for divine chocolate experiences. A very few outlets offer fine quality chocolate that also has variety. But recently, the launch of a chocolate shop in Karachi, made a great addition to those outlets.

Karachi Marriott Hotel has launched the premium chocolate shop of Belgian chocolates, ‘L’ Artisian’, the ultimate standard in finest Belgian chocolate. The brand’s name has been coined after a centuries-old art of handcrafted Belgian chocolate. A finely-balanced taste created by a high quality of cocoa butter prepared exclusively, using Callebaut a superior chocolate and cocoa products brand. The shop’s chocolates, masterfully sculpted in a delicious variety of pralines, truffles, caramels and ganache are presented in beautifully embossed gift boxes.

Some of the notable chocolates for sale include the signature “Amour Hashoo” - clover-shaped praline filled with rich chocolate ganache made with a hint of sesame seed, the truffle “Truffe Café” - cardamom and coffee cream ganache covered in powdered sugar, and the “Grand Marnier” - dark or milk chocolate praline filled with tart mango coulis and creamy caramel.

Coming back to the launch event, it was attended by a number of socialites, media persons and YouTube influencers such as Sham Idrees, Froggy and others who came to pour their love for chocolate. The next time you visit the hotel; don’t forget to pick a box of chocolate for your loved ones.
