If you want to get to know a region’s culture, the best way to acquaint yourself is with food. You’ll find that trying different food not only brings people together but also tells a story of heritage like none other. In recent times we have witnessed the recurring trend of food festivals, which not only brings people together but also gives a chance for them to try an array of dishes at a single place amid jostling crowds and some good entertainment.

Coke fest is one of those festivals that has garnered popularity ever since it started a few years ago. People flock to the event and make the best out of the food and music festival.

The three-day festival was held recently in Karachi at Sea View Park with some exciting activities, music and of course food! The festival attracted a crowd from all corners of the city and provided families with an opportunity to plan a perfect day out and sample the city’s culinary delights. Attendees witnessed chefs working their magic through cooking demonstrations and enjoyed live music. The Coca-Cola Food and Music Festival offered a variety of cuisines with flavours and delicacies to cater to a wide array of audience. It offered a diverse panel of culinary talents along with several home-based chefs.

The festival prides itself in being the platform for the promotion of solopreneurs and providing a boost to the home-based food market. Also, it promises to offer all the season’s freshest flavours extending from a diversity of desi, fast food, continental, Asian (Chinese, Thai), Turkish, Lebanese, Arabic, Italian and much more.

Apart from the food, a live concert was held on all three days by celebrated artists. On the first day, we had Rachel Viccaji, Sounds of Kolachi and Fuzon. On the second day, Bilal Khan, Aima Baig and Asim Azhar rocked the crowd. And finally, on day three, Natasha Baig, Stereo Nation and Ali Azmat concluded the show with a banger.

The festival proved to be the perfect place to spend the weekend with some good company of family and friends, amid some amazing food and entertainment by the sea.
