Let’s face it... boredom is not fun. Too much of the same burns out your ability to enjoy, putting you in a bad mood. Newness, by contrast, is invigorating. That’s part of what makes shopping fun, at least for some people. Just like doing new things, meeting new people, seeing new places, shopping for new love is especially exciting; because of a number of clothing brands are always working to bring something unique and exclusive for their collections.

Pakistan’s premium clothing and lifestyle brand recently opened the doors to its sub-brand, ‘Chapter 2’ in the capital city with a glamorous party. The launch event, managed by Miradore Productions and organised by Rezz Aly Shah, was hosted by Natasha Hussain along with ‘Chapter 2’ models, Eman Suleman and Saheefa Jabbar; attended by socialites, bloggers and media personalities.

Located at Mount View Plaza in central F-6 Super Market, the shelves at the store racks carried designs in every colour under the sun, from simple monochromes to sunshine yellows and hot pinks, all in pure hand-woven fabrics. The trimmings and detailing on each piece was thankfully limited to perhaps a fancy button here or there, with no embroidery, no florals and no assortment of ribbons and laces. Keeping things sleek, the silhouettes were somewhat experimental, without being impractical. The high-low hemline remained a popular aspect as did crop tops and boxy cuts. Comprising of pure hand-woven and hand crafted designs, the brand focused on the minimalistic approach towards design.

The brand is a reflection of artistic expression that transcends age. Imagine a contemporary take on traditional hand woven fabrics; preserving the art of indigenous hand weaving skill for three generations through high contrast progression of colour and composition. Constant and stringent quality control, working with trusted craftsmen generation after generation, preserving the age old crafts through the years, now results in this wondrous contemporary line.

In a revival of their original fashion ethos, it brings silhouettes that are wearable and contemporary. The freshness of simplicity is remarkable as it evokes a persona which does not associate itself in moving with the herd, but allows the wearer the luxury of creating an individual look of their own. The clothing store also includes an exclusive line of accessories, bags, shoes, home textiles, ceramics, stationary items and more.

So, head on down to this store and grab yourself a piece!
